"I work with my very own personal style and touch.
Åhus, where I live and draw my inspiration from, is one of Sweden's oldest cities with a great cultural heritage and is located right by the sea, which really inspires me. What I love about glass is the experience of discovering new aspects and properties of the material. Especially working with different color contrasts and reflections in inner bubbles floating inside the glass. I started my education in 1982 as an apprentice at Studio Glashyttan in Åhus. It has been a great inspiration for me to work every day with my masters and learn the many different techniques, to become passionate about the glittering crystal and to be touched by the mystery and emotion of this wonderful material.
Glass is enchanting with its many faces and a great source of inspiration worth all the effort it takes to develop as an artist."
