The story of the phoenix is about a mythical, fire-colored bird that is reborn from its own ashes. Originally a sacred bird in ancient Egypt, called Bennu, it was associated with the sun god Ra, creation and the cycles of life.
In Greek mythology, it built a newly captured nest, burned it, and was resurrected as a young, immortal bird.
The phoenix is a powerful symbol of rebirth and renewal.
It represents the idea of rising again, even after destruction, and is used in many contexts to describe hope and eternity.
