In 90% of the valuations, we can usually determine when the item was made, which glassworks made the item and who the designer is.
If the item is signed, we can also confirm who the artist is.
Valuing and indicating the monetary value of the item is complex depending on the location of the item itself. This in turn is because if the item was sold by the glassworks for 100 USD, it may well have cost the buyer in New York 800 - 1000 USD or more. For the buyer in Frankfurt, the price for the same item may have been USD 400 - 600. At auction, both the collector's value and the beauty value can far exceed the actual value depending on how many people are attracted to the item itself, etc.
Some items produced between 1950 and 1975 that cost between 400 and 600 USD have been sold 25-30 years later for 100.000 - 160.000 USD, so there is the possibility that you are sitting on a fortune without knowing it.

In order to be able to give any statements and any kind of valuation or cost of repair quote you are informed before we give the quote we need:
a. Pictures of the item.
b. Dimensions: height, width & length.
c. Weight.
d. Where and when it was purchased, or how long it has been in your possession.
e. If there is a signature on the item, name, date, number, write the entire text in a sequence that is on the item, e.g. Peter Svensson Bergdala 1990.
